Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons herb butter
- 4 ciabatta buns
- 2 unseasoned chicken burger patty
- 3 tablespoons blackening spice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 oz mixed greens
- 2 oz shaved cucumber
- 1 roma tomato, sliced thinly
- 1 small purple onion, sliced thinly
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons pesto
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Toast burger buns
- Season chicken patties with Blackening Spice
- In a cast-iron skillet over medium to high heat, sear burger patties for two minutes on each side. Lower the heat and continue cooking until the patty is cooked through ( an additional four to five minutes)
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and pesto to make the aioli.
- Assemble burgers with buns, aioli, lettuce, chicken patty, sliced onions, tomatoes, and shaved cucumber.
- Serve immediately
